Enrichment activities
Our nursery offers an exciting range of enrichment activities designed to inspire young minds and foster a love of learning.
Music and Movement:
Our music and movement sessions are led by the talented Double-Bass Dan, who engages the children in fun and interactive songs and musical activities that capture the attention of even our youngest learners. Through music and movement, our children develop their motor skills, coordination, and sense of rhythm. These sessions are also a lovely bonding time as carers help children discover the joy of self-expression through music and dance.

Cooking sessions:
At Rosemary Works, the children take part in cooking sessions following our healthy ‘Eat Better, Start Better’ program. These sessions provide children with hands-on experience as they learn about healthy eating and the importance of nutritious food. Guided by their carers, the children participate in fun and engaging cooking activities, from mixing ingredients to tasting their creations. These sessions not only promote healthy eating habits, but also teach valuable life skills, such as following instructions, measuring ingredients, and working together as a team.
Forest school:
At Forest School, our children explore the great outdoors and develop their curiosity and creativity through a range of hands-on activities, such as nature walks, bug hunts and building shelters. Forest School helps to develop important skills such as problem-solving, team work, and resilience, while fostering a deep connection with nature.
Football:
Football is lead by Little Soccer Stars’ coaches Harry and James. These sessions are all about having fun while learning the basics about football. Through imaginative games and activities, our children develop their coordination, balance, and social skills, in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Little Soccer Stars also ignite a love for the sport while promoting team work and physical fitness.

Yoga:
Our lovely yoga sessions are led by Yoga Bear qualified teacher Keisha. The programme is structured to introduce children to yoga and mindfulness in a fun, accessible way. Each week, the children will explore a new theme or character that represent a different chakra or inner quality, encouraging:
– body awareness and coordination
– confidence and self-expression through movement
– emotional regulation and calm through breathing and meditation
– Imaginative play and storytelling to build engagement
